What is E.I.F.S.... Installation of E.I.F.S has been my livelihood for eleven years. We were convinced rather quickly of the superiority of the system. However, there are many myths and truths surrounding the industry. E.I.F.S is not a load bearing cladding system consisting of EPS board, (white insulation), fiberglass mesh, base coat and acrylic finish coat E.I.F.S is not meant to be structural material. These are just some of the qualities that make E.I.F.S one of the most desirable cladding systems
in the world. E.I.F.S is very adaptable to the needs of clients. After some initial problems with
moisture penetration, new inventions and designs have eliminated those obstacles quickly and
successfully. Please note that every system, even if installed properly, will retain water. E.I.F.S,
being a very "tight" system can allow the moisture to escape through design features.
